Varaždin Tourist Guides Association was established on 1^st April 2005.

Since the beginning, the association has been supported by the local City Tourist Board, County Tourist Board, and the Croatian Tourist Board.

During this time, the association has organized numerous educational activities for licensed tourist guides and various training programs, among which we would like to particularly emphasize a 15-month the cooperation with the school for children with special needs where the training was held.

28 tourist guides received the certificate which enabled them to work with children and adults with special needs.
