Mihovil Šibenik Tourist Guides Association has been active for over 10 years at the territory of the Šibenik-Knin County. The association has 60 guides, licenced for work in several counties who are fluent in foreign languages such as Dutch, Czech, Hungarian, Japanese… The aim of this association is to assemble guides with a common aim to develop the tourist guides` profession as ambassadors of our country. Through many lectures, trainings and seminars, the association aims at improve its members` knowledge and skills in order to enable them to present the rich heritage of our country in a better way. We participate in workshops and projects and continuously work on protecting and promoting our cultural and historical heritage and national identity. At the end of last year, we were awarded a special commendation for considerable contribution to the tourist offer of the Šibenik-Knin County.
