The association of Karlovac County named “Bastion” was founded in 2009. The members of our association, tourist guides, along with the knowledge of protected locations of the Karlovac County and other counties for which they are licenced, are also known for their knowledge and skills in the areas of military, cultural tourism, religious tourism, and are also familiar with the work of a great number of family farms, which are active in the area of the Karlovac County.

They are also authorised for guiding tours in the Aquatika freshwater aquarium in Karlovac.

One of the most important goals of the association is the promotion and protection of the cultural, historical and natural sites of Karlovac and the Karlovac County, where the association members actively collaborate with the Tourist Board of Karlovac, and the Karlovac County, as well as other entities concerned with tourism development.
